Working WIth Documents

Stykz lets you have multiple documents open at the same time, and you can copy and paste figures between them (although they all share the same Library).

To create a new document, choose File > New (or type Cmd-N (Mac) or Ctrl-N (Win)):

A new document called "Untitled Stage" will be created using the default stage size set in Preferences (Edit* > Preferences >> General > New Document Settings > Stage Size), and will appear with the default figure specified in Preferences (Edit* > Preferences >> General > New Document Settings > Starting Figure).

Note that new documents that have not yet been saved cannot be automatically saved or backed up (see Auto Save/Backup for more info).
