I cleared up this post. The old anims were pure s***. Maybe these too.

The walk was bad, the lightsaber thing was awkard. The 3d effect made it actually look like paper. And the chair death was... Basically, just work on everything. Try doing tests before you make a real animation.

The first one was, well, strange, and the walk wasn't animated very well. Like Hoboapple said, the second one looks like paper. The last one, well, the walk needed a lot of work. He didn't really jump. He just kinda flew into the air and fell, and the chair didn't even touch him. When he actually landed, his feet went crazy and he just, sort of, imploded.

You should try to use websafe colors otherwise your animations will have dithering. You should work on easing, physics, and choppiness. Keep improving! :thumbup:

yes, I know about web-safe colours, but I use windows, and I don't want to choose web-safe colours always because I haven't got much time

The only thing that moved was his hand. It wasn't well eased, reallllly stiff, the blood was just floating chunks, the guy shook at the beginning, and the spear teleported down.

First off, (I'm not sure if you meant to do this) the Pivot guy rises at the beginning, and the spear doesn't travel through the air realistically. The blood looks like chunks, and he never really lands. His feet and hands land, but his head never touches the ground. You still need some work.

Eilios's ten step guide to be a crazy good animator.

Step 1: Realise animation is not easy. It takes some work to get it to look good.
Step 2: Read tutorials.
Step 3: Use information from those tutorials and your tests to make a simple "combo" animation showcasing many of those.
Step 4: Get critiqued.
Step 5: Use that information to plan what to work for.
Step 6: Make a revised "combo" animation fixing it, and add more of a plot.
Step 7: Repeat steps 4 5 and 6 until you get a pretty good review.
Step 8: Once you have a good review work on effects and plotline.
Step 9: Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you get a great review.
Step 10: Enjoy your animation skills. You are past what I can teach you.
