College and Jobs

Hey, I just got into college for 3D Animation and Game Design. My first class is Monday. I got to start looking for a job. I was wondering, anyone else in or going into college? I'm going to guess that a number of you have jobs. Whatever, tell us your situation.

I'm going to be a senior in high school. Looking for 3D schools currently.

That's cool. Do you know where you want to go after college? Like working on video games or movies?

I want to work in films eventually. On a different note, the local grocery store just called and I have a job interview with them tomorrow.

I don't want a job. It'd kill up all my time. I'll get one later. As for college, I'm going to train to hopefully be a youth pastor :3, cause kids are awesome.

I just got a job at a restaurant working as a dishwasher. I typically work from 4pm till 1am so i get what you mean chris.

@EmPeeKay: yeah thats a great goal. in the animation world, working on films is like the top of the top. There's so much more effort put into them than video games because they could be purely animation. Do you have a certain type of film you want? Like horror, comedy, fantasy.

@Chris: how do you train to be a youth pastor? I mean for my religion you can go to an apostolic school and then go on to become a brother, then train in Rome to become a priest.

Well I got offered the job at the grocery store, training starts monday. Yay, minimum wage! :P
