sorry dipper this joint/pw/rhg is going to be a test on whether we can create our own stuff not use packs and what not. It's suppose to be a challenge. so I think for the fact Landon,jerk and I are capable of making our styk figures and don't need to rely on others to do our bidding.

The Styk got back to me, he's in.

how about 600x700? I still think 20fsp is the average of our speeds. but to answer some of Jess' questions...

We'll have health bars and lives(i hav an idea for those and ill post it as soon as its done)
If everyone would just post a pic of the styk theyll use we could avoid some problems.

the transition for the background changes is up to the animator.

We want quick deaths, so around 50 to 150 frames per turn.

No deadline. Have faith in us.

I tried 600x600 and 600x700 i get what you mean by a box. It feels weird. I suggest we do 600x800 the closest thing to normal.

here's my styk and my idea for a health bar. Obviously not the finished version, just something quick i made for an example.
You might have noticed i set my guy directly on the line. I think we should do this to keep the 2d video game feel.
I honestly feel bad for making such a horrible anim...

So my idea for the icons would be a circle with our guys in it, maybe we could just make our own icons, however we want to.

The health bar would extend out, and a single line fills it up. since its just a line segement, you can use the subselect to easily increase its length. I suppose we could put a number or small cricles above the icon, or in the health bar to symbolize lives. when the guy dies, the health bar tucks away and the icon switches with the next styk in the team. which will be the circle under it. when the next guy enters, they enter in from the side with their health bar.

If we use this idea, i suppose i could make the bar, though i think Gm's better at styk making, and I'll send the circle out for download so you guys can design your own icons.

I really like that mock-up of the health bar!

I might try making my own version of it later, but no promises on it being good.

Everybody will make their own styks (sorry dipper).

And I really like the idea of having it completely 2D to keep a simple video game feel.

hey styk, i suggest you read every post made so far.

While GM and I try out some health bars, we should decide on the "powers", choose the teams and whats the the first match up.

My guy's Stykzman X so he'll have his dash and his gun arm. duh

I think Styk will have trouble animating my guy(his legs can troublesome) so he should be on my team, that way he wont have to.

Idc if my styk's one of the starters, but we need some random way to decide the winner for each match up. preferably private.
