Not Exporting

Postby Ranebuggy on Wed Dec 16, 2009 9:01 am

I have just downloaded the newest version of Stykz, and it has been going great for me except for 1 problem. I finished the animation, and I want to export it as a Quicktime (.mov) file. I go to "File; Export Animation" and choose where to save it and hit "Export". A new screen comes up that says "Prepping Animation for Export" but nothing happens. I even left it up overnight, and when came back there was no progress made in the export.

Extra Details: Mac OS X Tiger (v. 10.4.11)

Answers to a couple of questions would help me track this down:

  1. What version of QT do you have? (Should be in System Prefs -> Quicktime -> "About QuickTime" button)
  2. How many frames is your animation?
  3. How much RAM does your Mac have?

The Quicktime Version is v. 7.6.4

The animation has 45 (yeah, not very big) frames

I'm not quite sure how much RAM is on it. How do I find that out?
