Paste figure onto node

Postby DarkFlame on Mon Sep 07, 2009 9:12 pm

This seems like a pretty simple request and It would most definitely be useful. The ability to paste a figure onto any node. So the origin of the pasted figure would become the node connected to the main figure.

This is like that other request with the selecting.

it has nothing to do with it, that one is the one where you can drag line trees to nodes, this one is about copy/pasting onto a node. AKA interdocument.

How would you copy them? Subselect them?

Exactly. But you didn't really need to post that.

I think he was just confirming the final part of the implementation. In Stykz 1.5 (I believe) there will be the ability to select nodes and take actions on them. So this could also end up being "click on node, then Cntl-V to paste" as well as right-click.

That's a great idea, although it might be a good idea to show how this feature would be implemented, but then again, that's probably a surprise. ;D
