Bugs vs. Feature Requests

Postby stykzman on Wed Dec 17, 2008 1:19 pm

There are times when you might want to submit a bug report, when in actuality what you're probably submitting is a feature request. Here's some guidelines:

  • If you take an action in Stykz, and the program crashes... it's a bug.
  • If you take an action in Stykz, and the program freezes... it's a bug.
  • If you take an action in Stykz, and the some other, unexpected result occurs... it's a bug.
  • If you think something doesn't look right and should be changed... it's (usually) a feature request.
  • If Stykz doesn't do something you think it should do... it's a feature request.
  • If Stykz does something you think it shouldn't do... it's a feature request.

So before you submit your report, use these guidelines to determine if you should post in the Feature Requests area or in the Bug Reports area.

If you have a bug to report, post a new topic in the forum. This topic is not for reporting bugs (I don't even see why it's unlocked...)
Besides, it's older than 10 days.

DF's got a point... I'm going to lock this topic, but you need to post bugs in the "Bug Reports (Mac)" or "Bug Reports (Windows)" sections and start a new thread. BTW, when you do that, you should probably also post what version of Stykz you're using (Help->About Stykz) and what version of what OS you're using and how much RAM you have installed.
