GIF export bug?

I noticed that this recent Windows version has automated GIF export. But, I also noticed that the export scaling is automatically set to 50%. Was this by design or is it a bug? Is there some way for me to restore the GIF export to the older method (customize the parameters every time) that I'm missing?

It's just that 100% is bigger than what people normally do.

ehh.. i can't normally export the gif file o_O

To export an animated GIF you need to choose "Export Animation" from the File menu (NOT "Save as:"). Is this not working for you? Or did you expect to be able to "Save as" to a GIF animation, and therefore missed it?
