Basic Fight Contest

I just want some motivation to start animating more avidly, a contest would do this for me.

Criteria:

1. Basic fight between two base figures, don't give them detail.
2. No weapons should be included.
3. Only small effects, such as blood, tremours, camera movement etc. make sure you don't overdue this.
4. Screen size doesn't really matter, but best to keep it around default.
5. Should range between 100-250 frames, if you want to make more, ask, and it might be okay.
6. Anyone can join.
7. Deadline has been moved to March 12th

Cool. I think I'll brush the dust off stykz and give this a try. But a few questions; whose bases and what is the stage size?

Besides those two, I think I'll join. I have nothing better to do. (actually i do, but I hit a bump. sorry dip.)

Any base stick is fine, it shouldn't matter too much. And just default screen size 800x700

I'm in. I planned on making a bare fight vid sometime anyways. tho im currently working on two separate vids so i cant guarantee itll be done anytime soon.

ah right, I hate animating blood. can we use hit effects? like a little burst upon contact or something?

Yes, effects are a must. At least basic hit effects. Like tremor and such.

Also, you appear to have two topics for this...they were made at exactly the same time so I'm assuming that you double clicked the submit button. You should tell everybody that this is the active one, not the other one.

I understand you are a bit busy Jerk, but it would be much appreciated if everyone would honour the deadline. I would like to see this happen and not drag on. I am going to be pretty firm on posting the poll on May 5th. Remember, it doesn't have to be long, 100 frames is completely acceptable.

Yes yes, you can add small effects, blood was an example of this. You can be creative and add little things like tremors and such, I just don't want it to get out of hand. It's supposed to be basic.

I realized I made two, it was an accident, should be deleted sooner or later. Wasn't going to worry about it.

I live in China, and as of yet I don't have a VPN. China is known to have blocked youtube and facebook, (before you say that sucks I already know) so I was unable to view your submission properly. One thing I was able to catch though, is it's only 5 seconds. If I am right about this then that is too short. If I am wrong, it would be much appreciated if you would upload your animation on a site like hostmyfilez so that I can see it.
