yeah, it's hard to make it look like he's turning around and then walking....grrr the blasted thing i swear i shall accomplish some time.

Nice work but...
I suggest you stop trying effects and focus more on body fluidity and when you get that right...
You should start touching effects, a good way to learn effects is by first creating small hit-sparks (the ones seen in fighting games).
And then trying motion effects and beams and then after all of that... you could learn particle effects :D.
but apart from that your quite good :D.

No I'm not saying all u do is that.
And if i gave the impression i am deeply sorry.
But i was stating just how i got told to animate :P.
Meaning don't use any effect at all until u got body movement down.
But i wasn't taught by the best neither am i even that good.
Its up to you if you want to take my advice..
