Hall of fame or somthing

I was thinking; maybe we could have a hall of fame like DD. Or an inactive thread thing. The idea came to my mind when one of my most admired animators, Wind3H locked his thread. Also; There are way old animators like GM with awesome threads. I feel that threads like this should be honored, even if the thread isn't locked. (GM as an example here)

Yeah. It would be great because I use everyone else's animations as reference. I wont have to muck through pages of posts looking for good ones.

Oh yeah...I saw that somewhere. I guess that could be like "the best of the best." I like the animations there. But you understand I'm talking about threads.

A third category could be featured, so the most popular that week or day would be featured. A final category would probably be just browsing by search. We could also have a side column with a list of most popular animators or something. Its not bad, but you have to watch the video to determine its quality. And the only way this would work would be if it were flash or mp4 (bleh). Even though the forum has a counting system. So view count wouldn't work. But maybe something like that coupled with a rating system like thumbs up or down.

But I'm still sticking to "hall of fame." With the above system(s) The videos at the top would be constantly changing.
