Yeah, you WOULD be able to only delete the negatives.
But if it's simply comments, I don't see a problem.

I'm gonna bump this up and refer stykzman to this page as it's a brilliant idea (the profile comments).

What I'd recommend you do is duplicate the .net/forums to another add-on directory, like .net/testingforum, and make a new MySQL database for the new directory so you don't mess up all your tables.
Then simply install the mod and PM a couple people the add-on directory address to test it.

I'm not sure I understand why we'd need to add another directory? Or is the idea to install it and test it in a limited/isolated place before rolling it out?
