The guy landed more forward than he originally was. Also, the guy ended leaning a little bit forward, which looked awkward.

on the laser fail the laser comes in and after the sign dissapers.............did he destroy the sign cause then u can make a piece of the post of the sign and make it look like it broke............yah *;)* *:)*

It basically disintegrates, due to the power of the beam. He barely touched it, so he only got extreme blunt force damage.
