That is MUCH better! It seemed a bit slow, but that's probably because of the frame rate you set. And you are right, the back joints do not need to move when the character is just walking, but if he is doing something with his arms or something, then generally the back will move around. The one thing I'd like to stress is foot placement. You will never believe how much better an animation looks when the feet don't slide. I guess a way to practice this is to set the opacity of the onion skin to be darker. I set mine at 35%, not the default 25%. You can change it in preferences.
EDIT: Another thing, I noticed his head was jerking around. The head doesn't need to move at all except for every little bit, and even then, you should just slowly ease the head forward a bit, and slowly ease it back a bit, and that's it. And I mean only a few pixels.
