DarkDemon/Stykz Collab!

Hey Everyone!

To celebrate our new partnership with DarkDemon, ₡himaera (he's an admin on DD) and I are jointly announcing the first (hopefully of many) "DarkDemon/Stykz Collab" (DDSC)! This will give you an opportunity not only to "flex your Stykz muscles", but also to work side by side with animators from DarkDemon (many of whom are Stykz members anyway ).


The Rules

• All animations must be made in Stykz 1.0, at default stage dimensions. (700 x 500)
• All animations must be exported at frame delay 6, and 50% width and height, in .gif format.
• Have fun!

This is open to anyone and everyone, but keep in mind that only entries of the highest quality and creativity will make the final cut (like previous DDCs), which will be published as a .swf in the same fashion as DDC and TBBoDD.

Collabs/joints are allowed.

Adam from DD will be awarding the two best animations VIP codes!

If you're a member of DD, you should PM your entry to ₡himaera - if you're not a member, PM your entry to me and I'll pass it along. The due date is TBA

you do realize that ours is going to be intermixed with theirs not a Stykz Forum Vs. DarkDemon Forum. If it were, I'd have a tough choice for picking a side.

@Dark everyone is going to be doing most likely simple stuff on account of the fact stykz performance isn't capable of handing so many frames.

I know its just well they have a lot off good animators and if there was a noticeable difference it would be embarrassing but there won't be because from what i've seen they are all just experimenting.

btw, a secret animator is going to be entering this collab. When collab is let out you'll know who it is.

If all goes according to plan, there will be an even mix of Stykz.net and DD.org animators, each with different styles.

This will definitely be a showcase of just how versatile Stykz is as an animating tool!
